Information on how to clear a saved password.

 

Instructions

How to clear a save password from Credential Manager:

1. Select Start from the Windows Desktop

2. In the search box type ‘Credential Manager’

3. Select Credential Manager from the Search Results

 

4. Select Windows Credentials

5. In Generic Credentials Select anything related to Microsoft, OneDrive, MicrosoftOffice##

 

6. For Each Credential for Microsoft

a. Select the Drop Down Arrow

b. Select Remove

c. Select YES

d. Note: You can’t do anything ‘bad’ here, worse case you delete the wrong password, it will just prompt you for your username and password.

 

 

7. After removing all the MicrosoftOffice/OneDrive Passwords reopen Outlook and OneDrive to re-authenticate with your current username and password.
