What Is It?
In the course of the work done by CCSI, confidential information about individuals is both created and received. This includes information about their life history, their physical or mental health, and at times financial information. CCSI has an ethical and legal obligation to safeguard the privacy of this information.
If Protected Health Information (PHI) or Personally Identifiable Information (PII) has been shared unencrypted, to the incorrect party, accessed without authorization etc. a Privacy and Security Incident will need to be submitted.
